Transport Shift Coordinator required for a long term, permanent assignment within a nationwide supplier of industrial, medical and special gases based in Bristol, BS4

£17.81 per hour
Monday – Friday
Shift pattern rotates weekly 08:00 – 17:00 / 10:00 – 19:00
18-month FTC
About the role

Administration and management of daily operations of the drivers and fleet
Attend daily morning branch Ops Meeting
Manage driver’s hours and ensure legal compliance
Complete thorough driver trip Debriefs
Maintain and review driving licence records, including carrying out driving licence, ADR certificate, CPC card checks
Update and manage various in house systems
Receive and respond to out of hours phone calls, including emergency delivery requests, etc
Cover for the transport manager when necessary
Review, maintain and update training logs
The right candidate

Prior experience in a similar role such as transport administrator, logistics coordinator etc
Computer literate (using Microsoft Office)
Competent in data manipulation, analysis and collation skill.
Excellent communication skills with neat and clear hand writing
