Contract CNC Programmer (OUTSIDE IR35) in Oxford - CV-Library

We are recruiting for a CNC Programmer for a Precision Engineering business on a contract basis (initially 3 months). Due to increase of orders across their biggest customers as well as large investment throughout the business to maximise capacity, the growing business is looking to add a CNC Programmer to their day shift.

What does it involve?

The company is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist who has experience working within a fast-paced Sub-Contract Machine Shop to machine parts on their 3, 4 and 5 axis machinery. Heidenhain experience and offline programming is essential.

What’s needed for me to be considered?

* Experienced CNC Miller – skilled Programming/Setter/Operator

* Competent with Heidenhain (Essential)

* Creating and editing programs online for 3, 4 and 5 axis.

* Offline Programming (Fusion 360 would advantageous)

* Reading of technical drawings with both metric and imperial measurements.

* Use of metrology tools - Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges etc.
