Trainee Traffic Management Operative in Bedford - CV-Library

Vocation Recruitment are on the lookout for candidates interested in obtaining work within the Traffic Management industry for our esteemed clients in the Bedfordshire & Norfolk region. If you are new to the industry, or if you are currently an operative please contact us immediately! We have temp to perm positions starting once your training has been completed.

No prior experience? No worries! We offer all of the comprehensive training and supply all necessary PPE for you to start the job!

We are holding the initial training and induction to be in Newmarket at St Agnes's Church, Bury Road, CB8 7BT on Thursday 9th May 2024 from 11.30 am - 4.00 pm.

As a TM Operative, it will be your responsibility to install, maintain and remove temporary traffic management. As part of you role you will also handle and put out barriers, cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment as and when necessary.

Responsibilities & Duties:

* Monitor and set up equipment. Traffic lights cones, barriers when and where required.

* Delivery / removal of traffic management equipment to sites as required and where required (This could be out of your area)

* Be professional at all times and wear your full PPE

* Be able available to work nights & weekends where needed

MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE:

* Candidates must be 21 years old or older

* Hold a valid, manual, UK driving licence with 6 points or less and have NO current bans (A full DVLA Check will be completed)

* Must have your own transport and have been driving for 2 years or more

* Possess valid I.D. / Right to Work documentation

* Flexible for shift work as role may include day, night, and weekend shifts

* Will be drug and alcohol tested on induction day- must be able to pass test

* Must be able to travel to depots in Sandy or Garboldisham

CURRENT OPERATIVES:

* Must have a Lantra Card (Physical or Digital)

* Candidates must be 21 years old or older

* Hold a valid, manual, UK driving licence with 6 points or less and have NO current bans (A full DVLA Check will be completed)

* Must have your own transport and have been driving for 2 years or more

* Possess valid I.D. / Right to Work documentation

* Flexible for shift work as role may include day, night, and weekend shifts
