Job Title: KS3 Cover Supervisor

Location: Dover, Kent

Start Date: September 2024

Contract: Full time, Long Term

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Supervisor to join our team at the KS3 level. The General Supervisor will play a crucial role in creating a positive and nurturing environment for our students, ensuring their safety and well-being during non-classroom hours.

Your Role:

Supervise students during breaks, lunchtime, and other non-classroom periods to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
Implement and enforce school policies and procedures to ensure the well-being and discipline of students.
Monitor student behaviour and intervene when necessary to address conflicts or disruptive behaviour.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student engagement and positive social interactions.
Assist in organizing and overseeing extracurricular activities and events for KS3 students.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to address concerns and maintain open lines of communication.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Previous experience working in a school environment or similar setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage student behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
