As a Production Manager you will perform many varied tasks including:

The minimisation of waste through the implementation of LEAN strategies and improvements, in a pragmatic way in order to enable sustainable productivity gains.

You will plan and execute the Cost of Quality actions in order to reduce internal costs (scrap, rework) and customer escapes (ppm).

Plan and execute the quality initiative in compliance with APQP standard.

You will develop growth propositions for short-, medium- and long-term goals.

You can deliver a balanced management style, applicable to all areas of the business.

As the successful Production Manager, you will have:

Demonstrable experience of driving measurable improvements through LEAN manufacturing and CI

You’ll have the necessary leadership competencies to really drive ‘Top-2-Bottom’ change within the business and its culture.

Experience in managing the production team by setting clear tangible targets underpinned by your strategy, whilst developing your employees.

Demonstrable experience of efficiency improvements is essential, through measured and sustained application of core Lean principles Flow/Takt/Standard Work/Pull/ - preferably alongside APQP and NPI projects.

Experience of effective waste management within a large manufacturing environment.

You also have 5 years’ experience within a Production Management role.
