The Opportunity:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of various projects, working closely with project teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality work while maximising profitability. Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of cost plans, budgets, and detailed estimates for infrastructure, groundworks, and RC frame projects
Monitoring project costs and progress, and providing regular financial reports to management
Negotiation and management of contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
Identifying, assessing, and managing risks and opportunities to optimise project profitability
Collaborating with project teams to implement cost-saving strategies
Preparation and submission of valuation claims, variations, and final accounts
Qualifications & Experience:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is essential
Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within the infrastructure, groundworks, or RC frame sectors
RICS membership or working towards chartership would be advantageous
Strong commercial acumen and excellent negotiation skills
Proficient in the use of relevant software packages, such as Microsoft Office and cost management systems
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
