A newly rebursihed therapeutic school who offer a holistic approach to the education of young people are hiring a Lead behaviour/ Pastoral mentor. As a Lead Behaviour & Pastoral Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the character and well-being of the students.
Responsibitiles:
Developing and implementing comprehensive behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Providing one-on-one support and guidance to students, addressing their pastoral needs and fostering their personal growth.
Collaborating with teachers, parents to create tailored support plans for students facing behavioural or emotional challenges.
Serving as a role model and mentor, inspiring students to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.Qualifications:
A passion for working with young people and a genuine desire to make a difference in their lives.
Proven experience in behaviour management or pastoral care, preferably within an educational setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
A compassionate and empathetic approach, coupled with resilience and adaptability in challenging situations.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in counselling, psychology, or education would be advantageous.Hours: 38.5 per week Full time - Term time only
38 weeks per year term time
