Warehouse Team Leader in Rochdale - CV-Library

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader located in the Rochdale area. This opportunity is within a well known global manufacturing company who are well established.
As a Warehouse Team Leader you are responsible to ensure all the warehouse activities including order picking, shipping/receiving, inbound/outbound shipments, warehouse organisation, housekeeping and health and safety, are met in line with orders and company policies.

Close to all public transport linksMonday to Thursday - 8am to 4.30pm and Friday - 8am to 3.30pm
Salary - £12.50 per hour

Responsibilities of a Warehouse Team Leader

Using bespoke Warehouse Management Software to record incoming/outgoing stock
Managing goods in procedure and the inbound/outbound of shipments
Ensure all orders are dispatched promptly and in time for collections
Quality checking products prior to receipt/dispatch
General warehouse duties, including labelling, picking and packing against orders
Complete stock checks as and when required
Operate an FLT Reach and Counterbalance
Key holding and opening/locking up of the premises on an ad-hoc basis
Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all health and safety policies are followed
Effectively communicate with all departments including Warehouse ManagerSkills & experience of a Warehouse Team Leader

Warehouse Supervisor experience with a minimum of 2 years within a similar industry.
Computer literate and experience of using WMS
Flexibility is required to work to the needs of the business
FLT Reach - desirable
Ability to manually lift upto 20kgsIf you have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a warehouse, have a can-do attitude and enthusiasm to get the job done, and are comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines, as well as part of a team, we would love to hear from you!
