We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Clinical Lead  role at Gatwick IRC to join our team. The detention centre is run for the Home Office by Care and Custody, a division of the Serco with Practice Plus Group providing healthcare services to all residents since September 2021..
Our Primary Care and mental health team normally work long days which are
7 am - 7.30 pm with night shifts  working 7 pm - 7.30 am.
This position is full time 37.5 hours  a week and You’ll receive an annual salary Up to £55,000 - Dependent on Experience.

Please note, in order to apply for a position at Gatwick IRC , all applicants need to have been living in the United Kingdom (with residency in the UK, such as UK/Irish/EU Passport, or an Indefinite Leave to Remain Visa)for the last 3 years with no more than a 28 day break being outside of the UK and no gaps in employment during this time.

What you'll be doing
As the Clinical Lead and a member of the wider management team, you will be responsible for
 
Providing the day-to-day clinical and operational management of the primary care health team across an integrated healthcare service, contributing to the strategic direction of the service.
You will support your team to carry out comprehensive assessments, confidently communicating treatment options, and initiating supportive care plans.
Working with individuals on a 1-2-1 basis alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team.
 There will be an expectation for the post holder to lead/contribute to clinical and consumer audits. You'll be responsible to the Head of Healthcare, to ensure the management of the service meets its contractual obligations.
As the Clinical Lead you’ll be an integral part of the healthcare team by bringing your top-notch skills, passion for care, and leadership to the role. With your team leaders, you will model a culture of compassion, courage, and competence. The role will include providing challenge, support, and mentorship at the point of delivery, drawing the best from our staff, and improving the quality of care for our services.
