Role Profile

My client is an established engineering business in Stockport, looking to appoint a commercially astute Senior Contracts Manager to oversee and manage day to day operations within their Engineering Contracts Management team.

Key responsibilities:

Oversee and manage a small team of Contracts Managers to ensure on time execution of customer quotations and contract negotiation, as well as delivery of customer orders / engineering work programs
Manage the workload of the team, providing weekly KPI reports and forecasts to the Management team
Manage a number of key customer accounts, acting as the single point of contact for all customer interactions, from initial quotations and planning through to final order execution and invoicing
Prepare all technical and commercial aspects for Engineering Service quotations and orders, managing costs to agreed profitability / margins
Coordinate all relevant work activities between customers, sub-contractors and field engineers to ensure contracts are delivered in line with agreed timescales and budgets
Conduct customer site visits as needed

Skills & Experience:

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Previous experience as a Contracts Manager, with expertise in producing quotations and managing orders in a Field Service Engineering environment
Proven leadership skills with previous line management / supervisory experience
Strong commercial acumen, with a track record in successfully managing customer contracts to agreed costings / profit margin
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
Willingness to undertake sporadic business travel as required, both in the UK and overseas
