Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Children's Registered Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the well-being and positive development of the children in our care. Working in a new Children’s home based in Central Guildford. This home is currently home to 1 young person, with the potential to home up to 4 young people.

Working 9-5/8-4, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring it meets and exceeds regulatory standards.

* Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for children in our care.

* Lead and inspire a team of passionate staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest quality of care.

* Develop and implement care plans tailored to each child's unique needs.

* Build positive relationships with external agencies, families, and the local community.

* Monitor and assess the performance of the home, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.

* Uphold and promote the values and ethos of our organization.

Requirements:

* Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.

* Proven experience in a managerial role within a residential childcare setting.

* Strong leadership and communication skills.

* Understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.

* Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders.

* Commitment to promoting the welfare and well-being of children
