Senior Quantity Surveyor - Uckfield

Are you ready for an exciting opportunity in the civil industry. Do you have experience in all aspects of the civil industry...this may be the role for you. We are looking for a quantity surveyor for a contractor who deals with heavy civils and groundworks for a substation project.

As a quantity surveyor you will be overseeing the resources and project teams on project, help maximise the cash flow and margin, assessing, reviewing and mitigating risks.

Day Rate (CIRCA) - GBP450.00 - 500.00

Start Date - April

Duration - Ongoing

Location - Uckfield

Responsibilities will include:

- Managing all aspects of the contractual side to the project

- Carrying out cost analysis

- Monitoring cost variations and writing reports

- Allocating work to subcontractors and making payments

- Ensuring the project does not exceed the budget

- Office based with occasional site visits

Requirements:

- Diploma or Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying

- Knowledge of NEC Contracts

- Experience from a civil background with pre-constrcution

- CSCS ideally

- Experience in a similar role

- Excellent numeracy, understanding forecast management, CVRs and supplementary financial reports and final accounts

- Intermediate user of Excel and good use of other Microsoft packages

- UK Driving Licence
