Assistant Quantity Surveyor in Birmingham - CV-Library

The position As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor within the business, duties may include:

• Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and project budgets

• Preparing cost plans for construction projects, including concept design and design development

• Collaborating with clients, contractors and suppliers

• Monitoring project costs throughout the construction process

• Preparing and submitting progress payment applications and final accounts

• Maintaining project records and documentation

The candidate The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role gained within a consultancy environment.

• Pre and post contract experience.

• Knowledge and experience with JCT contracts.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
