Job Description

We are recruiting active, ambitious, and reliable individuals ideally from a background of cleaning or manual labour to work in a train depot to ensure the train is prepared for service and deliver the aesthetic condition standards.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for working as instructed and in accordance with all safe systems of work.

To liaise with the Team Leaders to ensure all train preparation and cleaning activities are undertaken as planned and directed.

Responsible for the use of correct chemicals, materials and equipment used in train cleaning activities.

To carry out thorough cleaning work within an agreed time frame.

To ensure all work is carried out to the highest possible standard.

Must be conversant with Health & Safety requirements.

Be flexible to work outside your normal contracted hours when the requirement arises.

We will provide:

NWR Medical and Drugs & Alcohol Screening

Induction and Practical Training

PPE

Physically fit with previous experience within a cleaning role has an advantage.

Candidates must be flexible for weekday and weekend.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract

Salary: £13.15 per hour
