Maintenance Electrician

Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire

Monday - Friday, 8-hour shift (Days)

Up to £50,000

We are looking for a motivated Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

Provide mechanical and electrical support and repairs to all factory machines, conveyors, labellers, scales, and process equipment.
Carry our PPM and breakdown response.
Work closely with all departments to minimise down time.
Site service and facilities maintenance when required.
Achieve set targets, both individual and team.
Complete all the necessary documentation for the Engineering department.
Perform all activities in accordance with Food, Health & Safety regulations.
Ensure an effective handover between shifts.
To observe, recognise and report component defects and impending failures

Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience with hydraulic, pneumatics, PLC'S and conveyer systems
Process plant and filler / packaging machinery experience desirable as well as experience in factory environment.
Electrical Qualifications, 18th edition is advantageous.
Working knowledge of BRC and Food safety an added advantage.
2 years proven multi skilled experience.
Experience in an FMCG, Food environment.
