NHS Supply Chain are seeking a proactive and organised Business Test Analyst to join our team and support the implementation and readiness of new business systems and processes.

As a Business Test Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing test plans and scenarios to validate system functionality and performance. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful rollout and adoption of business solutions through comprehensive testing, preparation activities and passion for the proposition. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.

Every day you will … 

Collaborate with project managers, development teams, and stakeholders to understand project objectives, business requirements, and implementation timelines.

Design, develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate business processes and system functionalities.

Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure business systems meet user needs and expectations.

Identify and document issues, defects, and enhancement opportunities during testing, and work closely with development teams to address and resolve them.

Provide timely and accurate test reports and status updates to project stakeholders, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies.

Participate in requirement gathering sessions, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation reviews as an advocate for the customer to ensure successful project delivery.

Contribute to post-implementation reviews to evaluate project success and identify areas for improvement in readiness testing processes.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?

Proven experience (3+ years) in business readiness testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), or change management activities.

Strong understanding of testing methodologies, best practices, and tools, such as JIRA or similar platforms.

Experience in developing and executing test cases for business process validation and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose solutions.

Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
