Job Description

We currently have a great opportunity for a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team at our BPX Nottingham Branch (NG5). We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic person to join our friendly team.
This is a full-time, permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week. The hours of work are 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday with a one-hour break.

Our continued success comes from our commitment to product support and customer service. We now employ over 150 people and from our 13 branch locations throughout the UK provide a local service to our customers.
What will you be doing?
As our delivery driver/warehouse operative you will be responsible for multi-drop deliveries to our customers. In addition, you may be required to support the warehouse team in assisting with incoming deliveries and outgoing order picking.
The main duties will include:
* Picking, processing and preparing orders, ready for delivery
* Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
* Delivering excellent customer service, following BPX standards
* Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results
* Delivering multi-drop orders to our customers using our company van
* Ensuring the van is kept roadworthy by reporting any accidents or repairs
* Any other duties requested by the Manager.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
To join our team we are looking for a person who:
* Has experience of working in a warehouse and multi-drop deliveries
* Has an outgoing, positive and professional attitude
* Has good day to day planning capabilities, this will be essential for the candidate to be successful in this role
* Is able to meet deadlines and follow through on commitments
* Is conscientious with good attention to detail
* Is polite, trustworthy and reliable at all times
* Full clean UK driving licence preferred
* Some electrical knowledge is desirable
