Job Description

Opportunity to join a busy and vibrant IT team based in North Norwich - Anglian Group is the UK's largest home improvement company with an impressive nationwide presence we are currently looking to recruit an experienced 2nd Line Support Technician - the role will include:

Provide first line support for all company users in all aspects of IT

Log faults with 3rd party maintainers, following up and ensuring resolutions are completed within agreed SLA’s

Assist with conception, design and implementation of any new or enhanced IT solutions

Maintain the company’s IT asset database

Ability to work on your own initiative but also part of a team.

Experience required:

Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft application software and Office 365 with the ability to diagnose and resolve software issues.

Good knowledge of MS Exchange and Active Directory

Strong knowledge of Desktop and Laptop hardware and be able to troubleshoot problems.

Knowledge of PowerShell scripting

Understanding of TCP/IP.

Awareness of Citrix.

Knowledge of Android and other mobile operating systems.

Provide remote and on-line support.

Great communication skills

Knowledge of WAN, LAN and wireless

This role is Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week - You will need a full UK driving license with this role. Occasional UK Travel may be required.
