Role: Marketing Manager

Location: Warwick, Warwickshire

Salary: £50-60k (Depending on Experience)

We are recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Technical Marketing Manager to join an Automotive/Engineering consultancy business in the Warwickshire area :

ROLE PURPOSE

As a fast-growing business with ambitious growth targets, the Technical Marketing Manager will work closely with the sales, and senior management team, playing a key role in ensuring the brand stands up to task in current and new markets and regions.

You’ll be responsible for evaluating the current brand and devising and executing a marketing strategy to support positioning and messaging.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Experience in working in a technical environment (Automotive or Engineering) is essential.

* Experience in developing and delivering technical marketing strategies.

* Ability to communicate clear and engaging technical content using a variety of channels.

* Strong copy writing and editing skills.

* Experience co-ordinating events, including exhibitions stands.

* Passionate & creative flair.

* Confident & able to think quickly on your feet.

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Practical and resourceful.

* Hands-on, can-do attitude.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

* You’ll be responsible for devising and executing the technical marketing strategy and overseeing the promotion and marketing of the company brand.

* Utilising market research and stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform brand strategy and positioning.

* Responsible for leading and facilitating the global marketing activities for the UK, US and key regions.

* Maintaining brand presence in existing markets and introducing the brand to new markets and regions.

* Manage and develop the company brand image and identity, ensuring external company communications are presented according to brand and tone.

* Ensuring consistency across all marketing and company templates and documents.

* Develop and monitor budgets for brand marketing efforts.

* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

* Identify and proactively address potential brand reputation issues.

* Responsible for marketing assets and content plan across platforms (website, flyers, social media etc).

* Co-ordination of events including conferences and webinars and associated promotion, including logistics, across the UK, US, Europe & Asia.

* Co-ordination of internal communications, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to develop communications campaigns to aid company objectives, promote engagement, and contribute to the positive work environment.

* Support and facilitate social media content and release as well as maintaining the company website.

* Working flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

* Acting as a role model for company values and professional standards.
