We have a great opportunity to join the education team at HMP Wealstun as a Trainee Associate Tutor specialising in English & Maths on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

What the role entails

As an aspiring Tutor you will develop and deliver high quality, learner focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards, in line with Novus policies and procedures, supporting learners and colleagues alike to ensure the best outcome for all who work within our sector.

What we need from you

Willing to develop and work towards Level 5 Certificate in Education
Willing to develop and work towards subject specialism in Maths or English.
Aspire to develop in the role as a Maths or English Teacher
Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
Gain/hold and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
