Ocean Import Operator in Basildon - CV-Library

Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for an Ocean Import Operator to join their office in Basildon.

They will also consider a trainee for this position. Salary negotiable depending on experience.

* Handling daily import operations ( FCL/LCL )

* Prepare and submitting customs entries Via Chief (Knowledge of what required at least)

* Experience with CNS and Destin8

* FCL knowledge (Our Inhouse software provider)

* Liaising with clients regarding documents, delivery and charges

* Contacting new clients directly about the business & Existing

* Exploring new opportunities for lanes and activities with clients.

* Addressing customer issues effectively and escalate as necessary, ensuring a resolution or follow up.

* Managing key accounts

* Arranging releases, BOL lodgement and payment of charges

* Invoicing jobs
