Job Description

Registered Veterinary Nurse - Poole, Dorset, No OOH

Fancy a role with no OOH on the beautiful South England coast?
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our RCVS accredited Poole practice. You will be working in a genuinely friendly practice in picturesque Dorset, minutes from the sea. Our growing small animal practice has all the mod cons and toys including an in-house CT scanner. Both of our sites in Poole and Bournemouth are close to the beach, with easy access to all that the Jurassic coast, Dorset countryside and the New Forest have to offer.

Position details:

This is a full-time position, comprising of a 38 hour week with only 1 in 4 Saturdays. We have no out of hours and are closed on bank holidays. We are also open to hearing about what rota patterns work for our team overall, so always open to reviewing this to make it work across the board for us as a team - we can be flexible over a 4 or 5 day week depending what works for you!

You will have a varied role including consulting, theatre work and inpatient care. CPD is well supported with a standard allowance of £600 per annum but additional qualifications/certificates and career progression opportunities are also encouraged and funded. We can offer you a salary of up to £29,000 DOE and you will also have access to the fantastic benefits:

So, why choose our practice?

Well apart from having the chance to live in one of the most gorgeous parts of the UK, the most important factor in joining us is to be part of our team; we have an exceptionally lovely bunch of vets, nurses, and support staff who get on like a house on fire (in a good way) and have a great time together both in and out of work. We have a variety of experience levels, backgrounds and interests, making us a dynamic team to work within. There are (many) nights out, a practice paddleboarding group, umpteen potential dog walking friends to be made, young families, runners, board gamers, photographers, cyclists, music enthusiasts and festival goers etc. Whatever wonderful talents you want to bring to the family will be welcomed with open arms!
