Validation Technician

North Kent

£32,000-£35,000 DOE

Monday to Friday – Hybrid

Fantastic Validation Technician position within a sought-after employer based in North Kent!

This role has the opportunity to work in a small, state of the art laboratory environment, completing all allocated formulation sample requests, working to deadlines. You will be maintaining all GMP, GLP and H&S standards, and carrying out reporting on your findings.  

Duties for a Validation Technician include:

Completing all allocated sample requests using small scale production facilities.

Colour matching, manufacturing small scale samples.

Working to targets and deadlines.

Obtain quotes and orders for raw materials and equipment.

Calibrate technical equipment.

Working to regulations, both industry standard and internal company policies.

Extensive, accurate document management as well as record keeping and reporting.

Adhering to safety standards

The right candidate will have/be:

Some experience as a Laboratory Technician/Assistant would be an advantage but is not essential if you have some Production/Manufacturing experience, or a Chemistry degree.

Experience in validation.

Educated to at least A Level standard (or equivalent)

Good eyesight including colour vision (this is essential due to the nature of the role!)

Practical, organised and analytical

Ideally a Chemistry graduate

Good Health & Safety knowledge

Knowledge of ISO, GLP, GMP, COSHH

Some knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology

A driving licence and access to a car

Full training will be provided to the right candidate, but some relevant experience is required, along with a good attitude!
