Job Description

Major Recruitment are currently seeking a maintenance and operations support technician for our client based on the outskirts of Huddersfield.

The role of a maintenance and operations technician includes overall control of our machines, equipment, systems performance and engineering ops within the workshop and includes operational and support tasks:

* Equipment and system problem solving

* Equipment production readiness

* Equipment effectiveness and capability

* Engineering Ops

Responsibilities:

* Equipment and system problem solving/Equipment production readiness/Equipment effectiveness and capability

* Programming, fault finding and producing production packs for automatic processing lines in PCB area

* Processing tool and equipment problem solving, including communication with equipment manufacturer support desks

* Equipment, tooling, jig and fixture control, maintenance and servicing

* Calibration control

* Setting control

* Providing cover support to cable cutting to enable the free-flow of production through the cell

* Working with Project Desk Technical Support to achieve effective and efficient equipment performance

* Support cover as required by Support Team Leader

* Engineering Operations

* Cutting & Testing support

Qualifications:

Knowledge of mechanical/engineering/electrical engineering preferred

Previous machine operator experience preferred

5 GCSE's including Maths and English preferred

Hours

Standard working hours: 38h /week

Nominal working hours:

08.30 to 16.26 Monday to Friday,

20 minutes break each day 12.00 to 12.20.
