Job Description:

As a Stock Control Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our inventory. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of stock control, including inventory accuracy, replenishment strategies, and warehouse organisation. Your primary goal will be to optimise stock levels to meet customer demand while minimising excess inventory and stockouts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Implement and maintain effective stock control procedures and systems.

* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment orders to ensure optimal stock availability.

* Conduct regular stock audits to verify inventory accuracy and address any discrepancies.

* Collaborate with the purchasing team to forecast demand and plan procurement activities.

* Optimise warehouse layout and storage practices to maximize efficiency and minimize handling costs.

* Develop and implement strategies to reduce excess stock and minimise the risk of obsolescence.

* Analyse stock movement patterns and identify opportunities for process improvement.

* Provide regular reports and insights to management on stock performance and inventory metrics.

* Lead and motivate a team of stock control staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field.

* Proven experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

* Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.

* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
