Job Description

Title: Technical Supervisor

Salary: Up to £40,000 + Benefits + Training + Progression

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8-5

Location: Bristol

Technical Supervisor to join an established contract in the heart of Bristol. You will be based in multiple public sector buildings managing a team of 7 engineers. Working for an industry leader, there is scope to progress into a management position alongside earning a salary of £40,000. Company vehicle + fuel card provided, overtime and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems within a government site.

* Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

* Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies, resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime.

* Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of building services.

* Oversee a team of 7 engineers

* Report directly to the area facilities manager

* 40% hands on 60% hands off

Requirements

* Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in relevant engineering maintenance field (or equivalent other qualification recognised by CITB/EITB/JIB).

* Proven experience in a similar role, within a building services environment

* Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role

* IOSH Managing safely or similar.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

* Willingness to improve and utilise training on offer
