The Role:

A highly regarded national surveying practice is now seeking the skills and expertise of a capable project surveyor to join their team.

Our client boasts an award-winning reputation within their chosen field, particularly within the realm of public realm clients. As part of their growth plans, this client is looking for an experienced project building surveyor to support their consultancy with a series of projects across the Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, and Winchester regions.

With the opportunity to work largely from home, this position becomes the perfect fit for a capable surveyor who enjoys working on interesting projects, complemented by a good work-life balance. The current portfolio of projects involves well-known, high-profile clients predominantly within the public realm.

Required Skills & Attributes:

In this instance, our client requires the following core skills and attributes:

• MRICS / MCIOB Qualified Building Surveyor

• A track record of delivering refurbishment and adaptation projects up to £1m.

• Demonstrates the ability to provide technical advice where required in relation to building pathology and planned and preventative maintenance issues.

• Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools to effectively plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from inception to completion.

 • Strong Contract Administration expertise.

• Able to delegate and manage junior surveyors where required.

• First-class interpersonal and client-facing skills.
