Van Driver in Southampton - CV-Library

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Drivers to join our client based in southampton. You will be making general delivereies in and around SO and PO Postcodes. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving and wants to be part of a dynamic team. Hours Monday to Friday 7.30 to 17.30
Duties
- Safely and efficiently operate a van to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload items from the van
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and mileage
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a maximum of 6 points due to insurance and no DD or INS
- Must be over the age of 21 due to insurance
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
