Junior Maintenance Engineer in Eastbourne - CV-Library

Our client is a well-established manufacturer is seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone keen to further develop their maintenance engineering skills.

The Role

To work in conjunction with the senior engineer to undertake planned preventative and reactive maintenance of all plant within the company.

The planning and implementation of machinery, network, electrical and air installations.

Constant vigilance to ensure quality is always maintained and where possible improved upon.

To offer support and guidance to machine operators, a complete understanding of how to operate every machine as well as maintain and repair is needed to achieve this goal.

Communication with supervisors/management to carry out the role with minimum disruption to work-flow.

Identify and correct unsafe working practices and correct failing safety devices on machines

Work alongside 3rd party engineers/companies when required. This will also require instruction via forms of communication such as phone/email.

Flexibility will also be required to fulfil day-to-day building maintenance tasks.

The Candidate

Engineering qualifications.

Experience in maintaining or repairing equipment or machinery.

Knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering.

Reliable and well organised.

Ability to work under pressure.
