Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team to work on schemes throughout the South Wales Region.

The successful candidate will provide valuable support to the commercial team throughout the region on both new build and refurbishment projects of varying values. Although the role will predominantly be site based there may be a requirement for some office-based works in the Regional Offices in Cardiff, as required by the Quantity Surveyors responsible for your development.

Duties will include the day to day financial and cost control and reporting of one or more developments from the award up to and including completion of client and sub-contract final accounts, recovery / discharge of all retentions.

Previous experience of quantity surveying is necessary, ideally within the housing sector and commercial environment. The applicant should have (or currently undertaking) a construction / QS degree or equivalent qualification.
