Part-time Veterinary Surgeon in Penzance - CV-Library

Are you looking for a role with a mix of consulting and surgery and more flexible hours in a beautiful West Cornwall? We have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive and friendly Team!

Role:

20-30 hours per week with some Saturday morning work shared out on a rota (hours are negotiable for the right candidate).

Varied role including consulting and surgery. No OOH.

Practice:

We are RCVS PSS accredited at GP level. The practice currently comprises of 3 Vets, 5 RVNs and a dedicated reception/admin team.

As an ISFM silver accredited practice we have separate cat and dog wards and actively promote stress free vet visits for both feline and canine patients.

Treating our patients as if they were our own has earned us a very committed and pro-active client base who enjoy 15-minute consultations, 'We are a small practice, but we're really big on care'.  Good diary management allows us the time to work up our cases to an extremely high level.

We are proud to be passionate about the environment and pride ourselves in being the first veterinary practice to be awarded 'plastic-free' status by Surface Against Sewage.

Area:

Located just minutes from the seafront, we are a well-equipped small animal practice with no out-of-hours.

Penzance is a fascinating old town in the West Penwith area of Cornwall.  Featuring, uniquely tropical local parks and a busy town centre, all amenities are accounted for. It also has excellent transport links to allow you to explore the beautiful Cornwall coastline and beyond.

Team:

The team are very supportive and enjoy meeting outside of work for socials or a swim in the sea!
