Job Description

SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and as a merchant of roofing and exteriors products.  

We are currently looking to recruit a part time Credit Controller on a temporary basis at our Wickford office, joining a supportive and close-knit team due to high levels of business.

The hours are flexible for this role and could be 09.00 -15.30 or similar (if preferred).

What does the role involve?
As Credit Controller, you will be responsible for contacting customers regarding outstanding debt and liaising with branches on order releases.  You will deal with all query management for our section for the ledger, as well as being able to deliver outstanding customer service.

The successful candidate will require:
•    Previous credit control experience - full training will be given on the Kerridge K8 system.
•    Excellent communication skills, both on email and over the telephone
•    Strong financial and analytical skills
•    Strong attention to detail
•    Able to work well both within a team and independently.
•    Deal with and respond to queries.
•    Strong customer service experience
•    Other ad-hoc admin
