Systems Accountant in Grays - CV-Library

We are working with a leading contractor in their search for a Systems Accountant to join their team based in the Grays Area. This is a new role due to the company expanding. This role is a fully onsite role.

Some of the key Responsibilities in this role include-

* Monitor and review the performance of the accounting system, identifying, and addressing any issues. Maintain an issue log and take ownership of resolving system-related issues.

* Proactively examine existing financial processes to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, or increased efficiency.

* Collaborate with IT support to manage system upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.

* Develop and enhance the accounting system and related financial processes to align with the evolving needs of the organisation.

* Review and maintain all financial systems policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

* Integrate the accounting system across any new subsidiaries.

* Manage the group accounting system, overseeing data integrity, reporting, and consolidation processes.

To be successful in this position you need to have:

* Coins experience/knowledge

* SAP Crystal Reports would be beneficial.

* Construction/Civil Engineering experience would be an advantage
