An exciting opportunity has become available for a Structural Engineer

This is a full-time post working as part of a small friendly team based in Bishops Stortford.

The Structural Engineers are primarily concerned with designing and constructing buildings and structures that are safe and capable of withstanding the elements to which they will be exposed, as well as improving the structural integrity of existing buildings.

The successful candidate will:

* Write reports for clients which are forwarded to the building control department.

* Work alongside Architects assessing their designs and looking at them from a structural basis to see if the design is viable.

* Prepare designs and drawings and calculations.

* Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other professionals regarding projects.

* Visits sites and homes.

* CAD

* BLUEBEAM

Hours 8.30-5.30

25 days holiday + bank holiday
