Job Description

We are looking for an experienced 'Small Works Estimator' with Facilities Management/Construction background to join a growing FM company in Kenilworth, who provide a ‘one stop shop’ for all commercial and residential property development and reactive maintenance.

This is a full time office-based, permanent role, 40 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, offering a salary of £30,000 per annum.

Job Purpose

The primary role of this position is to manage the estimation process for remedial and small works for the business ensuring that deadlines are met, and the process is being monitored on a daily/weekly basis. This position would suit an experienced Estimator who is used to working on a range of remedial and smalls works, who can manage the process from start to finish and be the point of contact within the business.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the role are:

* To analyse job sheets once received from service engineers to obtain sufficient information to quote for new/remedial works.

* To liaise closely with Contract Managers and engineers within the business on technical matters

* To undertake the preparation and processing of small quotations (up to £2k)

* To prepare larger quotations (above £2k), under the guidance and supervision of the contracts managers

* To send out quotations to clients in a timely manner and as per client SLA’s

* Following up with clients to gain feedback and making sure that each job is logged and followed through to the end.

* Developing strong relationships with key clients

* Carrying out administration of quotations on Joblogic

Qualifications/Experience

* Good understanding of estimation practices within Facility Management Industry

* At least 3 years’ experience within an estimation role

* Knowledge of small works, mechanical and electrical engineering

* Knowledge of Job Logic software an advantage but training will be given.
