STUDIO MANAGER X1 AND PRE PRESS OPERATOR X1 - LARGE FORMAT

DERBYSHIRE

£Open (Depending on Experience) + Holidays (20 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays + Christmas Closedown) + Pension + Free Parking + Tea and Coffee

Hours of Work: 8.00am to 5.00pm

Our client based in the East Midlands are Large Format Specialists, that have been established for over 25 years. They offer their clients a range of products and services including, signs, flags, wall mounted, roller banners, rigid print, exhibition graphics, outdoor and indoor display etc.
They are currently looking to bolster their Studio with two new recruits, 1x Studio Manager to head up a team of 4 and a Pre Press Operator. They are ideally looking for candidates from a Large Format background but will consider any pre press experience.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

The successful candidate will be working in the digital department preparing and checking files for print.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with Adobe Suite
Checking supplied artworks, flagging and sorting out possible technical problems
Setting up files for large format print
Updating and cataloguing production files
Generating print detail sheets to accompany jobs that go to the production floor
Colour matching, prototyping
Working in close connection with the creative team with possible overlapping duties
Thorough knowledge of industry standard software (Adobe CC)
Ability to quickly and effectively switch between projects
Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a busy roleIn addition to the above the Studio Manager must:

Have a background of managing the performance of a team
Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and lead others
