Our Leicester based Design Agency clients require a full time and permanent Creative Designer to join their busy team of Creatives. Working on both permanent and temporary retail solutions they must bring to the team that all important creative flair and a passion for creating engaging retail solutions, but ideally skills in 3D Studio Max, Illustrator as well as a knowledge of photoshop and Indesign.

Responsibilities:

Understanding tasks set and take project briefings.

Responding to client requirements and requests, understanding where to question appropriately.

Provide designs which are creatively appropriate to the brief set.

Provide designs which are both manufacturable and follow budget constraints.

To present and explain ideas to colleagues.

Ensure all work undertaken is accurate and adheres to the information provided.

Maintain databases for use in product libraries and 3D visualisations.

Maintain accurate project files and records in line with guidelines.

Work efficiently to the schedule provided and within the times set.

Ensure all relevant people (colleagues, clients, and suppliers) are kept informed of key details and progress throughout the project.

Use all relevant tools (email, reports, meetings, face-to-face conversations) to share important information key to the success of the project.

Provide accurate time records of work undertaken.

Be flexible to fit the needs and demands of the business as necessary.

Requirements:

Attention to detail in all aspects of key duties.

Possess design specific further education qualifications or equivalent experience.

Able to self-motivate and learn quickly.

Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, adhere to guidelines, and budget constraints.

Able to work as an individual and as part of a team.

Able to communicate effectively with all areas of the business.

A strong desire to progress design skills and pro-actively develop competence in 3D.

Working knowledge of both temporary and permanent POS manufacturing methods.

Understand commercial requirements of the business.

Competent Max and Adobe Creative Studio skills.

Ability to accept guidance from the rest of the Design Team.

Show creative flair, originality, and a developing visual sense.

Comfortable creating sketches/quick models or mood boards for internal discussion.

Proactive in carrying out personal objectives
