Job Description

We at Work Lyf Group are recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager to join our client based in Newcastle-under-Lyme. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a new challenge to become a key member of a forward-thinking company and to progress within the industry.
.As the , Health & Safety Manager you will be responsible for:
Carrying out on site consultancy and report writing undertaking services such as, Fire Risk Assessments, DSEAR Risk Assessments, HAZOP’s, H&S Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments, H&S Competent Persons service and advice, and any other Health & Safety consultancy services at clients sites.
Qualifications Required
NEBOSH Level 6 National Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management
Professionals, NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety
Management Professionals, IOSH Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Leadership and Management, or equivalent is desirable.
Member of the Institute of Fire Safety Management (IFSM), or willingness to become member.
Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), or willingness to become member.
Expert in Health, Safety and Environmental law, ACoPs, guidance, policies & procedures to ensure safety at work.
Previous experience of working in a Health, Safety and Environmental orientated role is required.
Full UK driving license is essential as well as a willingness to travel to client sites across the UK, and Internationally as per required.
Working Hours:
40 hours per week. Monday – Friday, 08:30am – 17:00pm Monday to Friday (half an hour for lunch, 2x 15-minute breaks, morning/afternoon), not including site days as hours vary
