Overview:We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant. If you have a passion for cooking, strong leadership skills, and a background in the hospitality industry, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:- Plan and execute menus in accordance with customer preferences and seasonal availability- Prepare and cook delicious meals with attention to detail and presentation- Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials- Monitor food production to ensure consistent quality and portion control- Manage kitchen operations during service hours, ensuring smooth workflow
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the kitchen- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
