Finishing Operator in Sheffield - Latcom

Finishing Operator - Print. My client based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire are looking for a Finishing Operator but my client would also consider aguillotine operator. You must have previous experience working within a print finishing department utilising folders, binders and guillotines.Please note this role will be on shift pattern of 2 weeks at 06:00 -13:30 and then 2 weeks at 13:30 21:00.
Key Accountabilities:
Reduction of machine down time for make-readies and breakdowns
Reduction of running times, while still ensuring quality, as measured against quoted targets
Reduction of waste in respect of reprints as monitored by Reprint Analysis
To understand every job and follow lists to ensure all work completed
To finish every job within allocated time scales and to a high quality, ensuring quality file copies separated and labelled on every job
To box and label every job and prepare it for dispatch
To implement maintenance tasks to plan
To be responsible for general cleanliness of the finishing department as a part of the daily routine
To liaise with the Finishing Supervisor to ensure work is completed as required.
