Salary: London & Croydon - £35,510 - £48,827 / Haywards Heath & Stevenage - £32,710 - £44,975 per annum
Location: Croydon/Wright's Road (London)/Corsica Street (London)/ Haywards Heath or Stevenage (Hybrid working)
Hours: 36 per week

If so, the Health & Safety Team have an exciting opportunity for you!

As a Safety Assurance Officer, you'll implement and support Clarion's Safety Framework, working with colleagues to ensure the safety of our people, customers, and properties.
Working in conjunction with the wider Safety Team we'll look to you to provide competent advice and guidance to the business on key risk areas including Asbestos, Gas, Water and Electrical safety and support our comprehensive contractor appraisal and management processes. You'll also co-ordinate and complete audits, reviews and incident investigations as well as develop and deliver training programs to upskill our people in all aspects of safety.
We're looking for a confident, resilient, and highly motivated individual with excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills to undertake the role of Safety Assurance Officer. You'll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a combination of operational responsibilities, audit and assurance checks and project delivery.
The successful candidate will already be NEBOSH qualified, having gained practical experience in the application of safety delivery, and have a good understanding of applying UK Health & Safety legislation.
You must have demonstrable knowledge or experience of the key risk areas detailed above and be competent in co-ordinating and completing accident investigations, producing written reports, and undertaking audits/reviews within a Housing Association or similar diverse and multi-disciplinary property-related organisation.
