Are you a Senior Health and Safety Manager with experience of influencing early stage design on a major infrastructure project?
 
Are you a qualified Professional Safety Practitioner?
 
Location: Birmingham (hybrid)
Salary: £56,940 to £71,600
 
There are multiple positions available to work client-side on a major rail framework. The successful candidates will be responsible for 2 to 3 packages of work, so as a result any applicants will require previous experience of leading a team and interacting with senior stakeholders in a complex project environment.
 
The successful candidates will have clear examples of identifying hidden problems using honest probing techniques at the design stage of a project to eradicate risk and create a safer environment at delivery. Previous management experience is essential for this opportunity.
 
Only those who are Professional Safety Practitioners can be considered for this opportunity, and those at a Chartered IOSH status or equivalent will be heavily favoured.
 
This role will be based in Birmingham 2-3 days a week, with the remaining days available to work from home. As the work is awarded and the related projects are underway, occasional site travel will be expected. This travel will be expensed by the client.
 
The salary for this role will range from £56,940 to £71,600 dependent on experience.
 
Requirements:
- Proven experience of providing analytical support at design stage
- Previous management experience
- Professional Safety Practitioner
- Chartered IOSH status or equivalent
 
Preferable:
- Previous client-side experience
