Job Description

This rapidly growing engineering company has a new role for a Project Coordinator to join their team. They provide a ‘one stop shop’ for all commercial and residential property development and reactive maintenance.

They deliver a reliable and competitive service for all maintenance, refurbishment and building needs. Offering a nationwide commercial property maintenance service, including 24-hour emergency callouts and other small works.

This post sits within the Projects team, which is collectively responsible for the effective delivery of all projects within the business. As the Project Co-ordinator, you will have responsibility of overseeing all live projects (of varying sizes £2k - £150k), co-ordinating mobilisations, allocation of engineering or sub-contract resources, procurement of materials, liaising with Technical Contracts Managers and Key Account Leads.

Skills required

Basic knowledge of building services – electrics, air con systems, drainage, water services

Ability to act quickly and be reactive to new projects coming in.

Effective operational planning and time management skills; able to manage projects simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality and meeting all client requirements.

Ability to determine an appropriate schedule of works for each project, liaising with the wider Operations team to ensure effective customer engagement.

Proactive communication with clients and stakeholders

Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety requirements relevant to small construction projects

Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.

Monitor and analyse project progress against schedules, identifying potential delays and proposing solutions to ensure on-time delivery.

Close out project on achieving client sign-off.

The role will be office based, with some visit to site required. For this reason you will need a full UK Drivers Licence. In return, there is a competitive basic salary and all the benefits associated with working for a growing business
