CNC Machinist in Skelmersdale - CV-Library

Skilltech Resourcing are currently recruiting for a skilled machinist with both CNC & manual experience in the Skelmersdale area, an excellent opportunity to work for an organisation who have been providing precision manufactured components for over 50 years into various markets including – Manufacturing, Nuclear, Offshore etc.

We are looking for a Machinist with: -

* Formal training or a recognised apprenticeship.

* Experience with most types of machining inclusive of Mills, lathes, grinders to high tolerances.

* Be able to set and operate, edit/ programme.

* Conventional machining knowledge.

* Flexibility to work overtime when required.

As a CNC Machinist you will: -

* Set up, operate, and machine parts and components to technical drawings and specifications to produce one-offs or small batch.

* Draw from past experience to come up with the best engineering solutions and practices to problems for bespoke engineered parts.

* Ensure all HSE legislation is adhered to at all times.

Initially temporary this position will become permanent following a qualifying period.

Hourly rate up to £16.00 - £18.00 PAYE depending on experience plus overtime
