Job Description

Your position in the technical team will be a pivotal, a key player offering technical services relating to supplier assurance, quality, specifications and technical documentation

Ability to engage at all levels, confident communication skills, working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Experienced in supplier relationships and engagement, collaborating with Operational and NPD teams, the skills you possess will add value and be a real asset to the mechanics of the brand and the ability to adapt in a fast moving environment.

The key responsibilities will include:
* Supplier engagement, relationship management and supplier documentation
* Assess Technical Projects, Raw Materials process working in line with food safety guidelines
* Ensuring high standards of compliance and attention to detail with technical documentation
* Write and review specifications, complaints and working closely with suppliers, on boarding, risk assessments
* Analysing trend results, quality non conformances, and effective management of raw material
improvement standards
* Collaborating with stakeholders such as NPD process' and trails and co parties

Good communication and organisation skills are vital for this role working with cross functional departments and with 3rd party manufacturers and auditing of suppliers.
Liaising with customers, third parties and teams across the business at all levels.
BRCGS and detailed knowledge of HACCP/Food Defence
Good knowledge and awareness of GFSI recognised standards
Comfortable performing risk assessments and communicating the outcome of these in an effective way
Track record of delivering results in relation to product quality and supplier compliance
Previous experience in a technical role, working with cross functional departments and with 3rd party manufacturers and auditing of suppliers.
Retailer exposure will be advantageous as well as management experience.
