A great Secondary school, on the beautiful island of Guernsey is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages on a permanent basis, to start in September 2024.

The candidate must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and have experience teaching across Key Stages (3-5). The role comes with a generous relocation package and rental support.

Essential requirements:

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
PGCE or degree in the relevant subject area
Clean Enhanced DBSKey tasks and responsibilities:

Teach across Key Stages 3-4. The capacity to teach KS5 is desirable
Appropriate planning and preparation of courses to support curriculum development
Promote a love for Modern Foreign Languages to students inside the classroom, as well as across the whole school community
Manage the behaviour of students in classrooms and around the school
Support extra-curricular activities
Differentiate to meet the needs of learners
