Concept Resources are proud to be working with a Manufacturing company within the Safety sector who are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their team. This role is suitable for a candidate with experience selling construction products on a large scale within the Housing/Property Sector.

About the Role:

The company is seeking a specification / technically orientated Area Sales Manager to help target and service this market in conjunction with the extensive exemplary technical support services the company provides and the established wider sales and marketing function.

Reporting to the Sales Director the successful candidate will be responsible for developing specifications an opportunities within both the New Build and Refurbishment sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience in specification selling construction products into this market and have tangible experience of engagement with architects, consultants, main contractors, developers and specialist façade installation contractors at all levels

* Basic understanding and experience of Microsoft Software and general IT literacy

* Ability to work effectively alone and within a team environment

Experience -

* Understanding of the construction process and market.

* Minimum 3 years working within a construction specification or technical sales role

* Experience in a similar role

Ideally situated in the Midlands or North West but for the right candidate the location is not imperative. The role will be area based but may include servicing stakeholders outside of the territory allocated, potentially nationwide, and therefore may have a requirement for extended travel and/or staying away from home for short periods.

Package

Basic circa £50K (dependent on experience) plus performance related bonus + Company Car (or Car Allowance) + Laptop + Mobile Telephone. 25 Days Holiday plus England / Wales Bank Holiday
