Job Description

We have aspirations to grow our practice further and are now looking for an ambitious Veterinary Surgeon to join us in a leadership role on this journey!

Are you an experienced vet looking to progress into leadership and inspire the current team, whilst being instrumental in the direction the practice takes? Join us and will have the opportunity to learn on the job and work closely with the Practice Manager in the day to day running of the practice, with the support from our highly knowledgeable regional team.

About Us:

Our surgery is purpose built to deliver the highest clinical standards and provides excellent facilities, giving you access to all the equipment and space you need to care for your patients. We are RCVS accredited and hold the ISFM silver cat friendly award, and are now working towards our RWAF accreditation.

We already have a loyal client base with the potential for further growth, and cases can be worked up locally giving you the opportunity to develop any specific interests you have, with certification encouraged and fully funded. We're also keen to learn new things from you, so if you have previously done CPD, we want to hear all about it! We're always open to trialling new ideas and work closely together with the aim of providing the best care for our patients and a great client experience from phone call to consult.

Benefits on offer:

- Career path built specifically for you.

- Salary up to £80,000 with a £5,000 welcome bonus*,

- Pension, healthcare, paid memberships.

- Development opportunities and exclusive lifestyle and shopping discounts.

- We're also happy to provide relocation packages from within or outside the UK, including visa sponsorship if needed (we're an A+ rated sponsor).

Hours:

We can offer fully flexible hours, full or part time. Weekends are on a fair rota basis shared with the rest of the team and there's no on call or OOH requirement. We are looking for someone confident in routine surgical and medical cases and comfortable with sole charge.

Diversity and Inclusion:

Just like pets, we embrace everyone's differences. We work to break down barriers, attract and develop diverse talent, and create a culture that allows everyone to be the best they can be.

Our diversity and inclusion vision is that everyone is welcome and feels part of our business. So, if you think you're a good match to what we are looking for, and you share our belief that together 'we're better with pets', we're waiting to hear from you, whatever your background or circumstances.
