Our client a small luxury hotel nestled in the Snowdonia National Park, part of a prestigious Hotel collection of high-quality hospitality venues in Wales is seeking a talented Bar Manager to join their team. Renowned for exceptional service and honest hospitality, the site offers guests a memorable experience. The 14-bedroom hotel overlooks the stunning Mawddach Estuary and is home to an excellent restaurant with a renowned wine list. The client is offering a salary of £33,000 including gratuities of approximately £3,000.

What Does the Role Entail?

The client seeks a passionate and hands-on Bar Manager and Sommelier to lead their talented and award-winning bar team in an operational capacity. You'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the Bar and maintain the wine list, ensuring impeccable service and guest satisfaction. You will manage staff, maintain standards, handle guest inquiries, and contribute to the overall success of the dining experience.

What Skills Will You Have?

You will ideally have bar management experience in a multiple-outlet environment, with a strong understanding of wine. You should possess a genuine passion for customer service, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire and lead a team. Strong cocktail knowledge, a passion for local, regional and world spirits and wines and a resilient nature are essential, along with immaculate presentation and a friendly yet professional demeanour.

What Is On Offer?

The client is offering an excellent package up to £33,000 including gratuities, with a 4-day working week and additional paid days worked. Gratuities are shared through our Tronc system, currently amounting to £3l000 per annum. You will also have access to tailored training and development plans, financial support for professional qualifications, and meals provided while on duty.
