In the role of Engineering Manager, you will find yourself working for a leading housing developer who has a big focus on quality, design, and environmental responsibility. You would see your self working with a growing team in a dynamic and modern work environment with a strong pipeline of developments over the next year.

The role:

As the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the engineering aspects of their housing projects from initial design through to completion. You will ensure that their developments meet regulatory requirements, adhere to quality standards, and are delivered on time and within budget which will drive the success of their developments.

Manage, Engage all external consultants where required in the production of technical information
Manage the design and development of infrastructure for housing projects including roads, drainage and utilities
Collaborate with architects, planners, contractors and local authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits
Conduct site assessments and surveys to identify potential challenges and develop solutions accordingly
Monitor project progress, budgets and schedules - implementing adjustments as needed
Ensure compliance with the relevant regulations, standards, and health and safety guidelines

About you:

Degree in Engineering
Proven experience in Housing development projects
proficiency in CAD software
Strong understanding of utilities management and infrastructure development
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
Detail orientated with a focus on quality and accuracy
Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes
